Kasa Initiative Ghana through the Sustainable Development Goals Grants awarded by the Center for Democratic Development(CDD) is working to strengthen climate reporting by non-state actors. Through approaches such as capacity strengthening workshops, media appearances, stakeholder engagement with persons from the media, CSO and advocacy groups, Kasa Initiative Ghana aims to improve visibility of climate change related issues on the public domain in Ghana.

The project aims to achieve the following objectives:

1)To build the capacity of 30 CSOs and 20 journalist form national media organizations for accurate climate change reporting

2)To contribute towards influencing political parties’ manifesto content for 2024 elections campaign with climate change issues.

3) To improve media reporting and visibility of climate change issues in the media landscape
