CSOs engagement with political parties on NRE sector governance and strategies

Ghana is headed towards election and this creates an opportune moment for political parties to consult stakeholders on pressing issues that influence citizens. Some of this issues are Natural resources and environment with climate change mitigation paramount.

Ghana is currently dealing with human activities that are degrading its environment such as illegal mining and changing climate that is largely affecting agriculture. To address these issues, there is need to address strategic governance issues to offer actionable solution and overturn the current reality. To this effect, a forum was conducted with CSOs in the country together with major political parties to influence some of the strategies in political parties manifesto.
